STC chooses Alca-Lu for LTE deployment

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) chose French equipment vendor Alcatel-Lucent to deploy its LTE network in 11 cities in the Northern Region of the Kingdom, TeleGeography CommsUpdate reported.

STC Group CTO Dr. Zeyad Al-Etaibi said, “STC is committed to delivering innovative services to its subscribers, and together with Alcatel-Lucent we are confident we will enrich our customers’ lives by offering a variety of services for consumers and businesses.”

Alca-Lu will provide all managed services at all cell sites rolled out across the cities involved.
