Boingo gets exclusive deal in UK

Boingo Wireless, a neutral host airport network operator, signed an exclusive deal with global airport company BAA to be the sole provider of retail Wi-Fi services at six major airports in the United Kingdom.

The airports to be powered by Boingo include London Heathrow, London Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Southampton.

In conjunction with the contract, Boingo will open an office in London to service the six airports and be better attuned to local customers’ needs.
