MIC picks Comverse in Honduras, Bolivia

Millicom International Cellular (MIC) picked U.S. converged solutions supplier Comverse to deploy its Voice HUB solution, to bring voice-related services such as Comverse visual voicemail and call completion to its mobile operations in Honduras and Bolivia, TeleGeography CommsUpdate reported.

In a statement the U.S. vendor states that MIC, which markets services in the countries involved under the Tigo banner, will have voice messages sent to users immediately and automatically via multimedia message (MMS) and e-mail. Comverse Voice HUB is part of the Comverse HUB Value-Added Services, which spans voice, messaging, mobile internet and mobile advertising.
