Sunrise shines light on Telenet’s standards

Sunrise Telecom Inc. announced that Telenet, Belgium’s largest MSO, has standardized on Sunrise Telecom’s CM2800E  for its cable services field technicians.

Telenet’s selection of the CM2800E strengthens its long-term relationship with Sunrise Telecom.

“Our choice was largely based on technical merits, ease-of-use and compatibility with the existing headend and hub equipment deployed in the network,” said Mark Kerstens, lab manager from Telenet.

“Providing complex services, such as higher quality digital video, higher speed data services, VoIP services and video on demand services, elicited a need to upgrade our network and our test tools with advanced functionalities,” said Dirk Speybroeck, Telenet’s Vice President of Service Assurance. “The CM2800E will play a vital role in further increasing the reliability of service to our customers.”
