Samatel launches MVNO in Oman

Mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Samatel launched services for residential and business users in Oman over the wireless network of Nawras, according to TeleGeography CommsUpdate.

Samatel’s service is based on Effortel’s mobile virtual network enabler platform, which delivers all the technical and operational needs of the network, allowing the operator to focus on the key marketing and customer service requirements.

It also provides Samatel with the ability to design and operate bespoke mobile packages.

Samatel says it targets untapped and underserved segments of the market, with services and competitive pricing tailored to suit specific needs.
