Qualcomm mulls vendor option for Indian rollout |

U.S.-based Qualcomm is in talks with telecom equipment vendors over possible supply agreements for the rollout of wireless broadband services in India, according to Reuters, TeleGeography CommsUpdate reported. Qualcomm began negotiations with Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia SiemensNetworks (NSN) and Huawei for the equipment it needs to launch commercial services by 2011.
