| Vietnam to Get MVNO |

According to reports, the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has approved state-run Vietnam Multimedia Corporation’s (VTC) application to set up a wireless network and provide mobile services. VTC, a newly established telecoms company, will share wireless frequency bands and infrastructure facilities with one of the existing mobile service providers in the country, which includes MobiFone, VinaPhone, Viettel, S-Fone, EVN Telecom, Vietnam Mobile and Gtel Mobile. VTC currently operates a number of multimedia related services in the country and is a licensed WiMAX operator.
