| Telkom and AT&T Enter MOU |

| South Africa’s incumbent fixed line and broadband operator, Telkom South Africa, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding agreement with U.S.-based AT&T to connect its South African infrastructure with AT&T’s global network.
“This agreement will definitely contribute to our objective of expanding our leadership position beyond the borders of our country. The agreement will give impetus to Telkom’s determination to expand geographically and become a fully fledged Pan-African operator,” said Reuben September, CEO of Telkom. |
